after-the-weekend thoughts.

  • moonlight is/was an awesome (vampire) show. i didn't watch it while it was on (was it ever advertised??) but thanks to the whole tv-series-to-dvd thing, i was able to watch almost the entire series (read: season one and only) yesterday. uh-may-zing, indeed. alex o'loughlin: super hot, though i really wish he could have had his irish accent in the show.
  • creepy dude is back after being gloriously away for at least four months. this does not please me one teenie bit. fyi, he smells even worse than he did before, but because he has a fancy new car, he probably thinks girls (read: me) won't mind as much.
  • if there was a way to import all my old posts, i would most definitely transfer over to tumblr. it's so streamlined and simple there. but since i can't transfer my posts, it seems as though i shall remain a blogspot blogger (or maybe if i get really bored today, i'll transfer every thing over, post by post...).
  • uh, remember when i wrote on friday that i had no negative thoughts about coworker M so far? yeah, that's changed just 32 minutes into her second week. she pissed off the giant printer and made a huge mess. i'm trying to be miss negativeo only an hour and thirty-three minutes into my week, but if this is how she's going to be working, i'm really not looking forward to dealing with that for the two weeks boss lady's gone.
  • i have decided not to put any crap (sculpting taffy, hairspray) in my hair anymore. my hair is just long enough now that putting that stuff in it keeps it from moving; it's so stiff, no matter how much product i use. and i don't know about you but hair that moves? it looks more healthy than hair that's essentially plastered to your head. this isn't a huge adjustment as i rarely ever put anything in my hair during the weekends.
  • i finished stephenie meyer's the host last night. three words: oh. my. god. it was amazing. it was a little hard to follow for the first 50 pages or so, but i just chalk that up to it being sci-fi and that not being my genre at all. i've heard rumors that she's going to turn this into a series as well; i'm not sure how i feel about that one way or the other. but i do know i got emotionally attached to those characters just like those from the twilight saga, so series or no, i am a fan.
  • i am a very boring blog writer.
